V&A Exhibition photo recap

The Fashion V Sport exhibition at the Victoria and Albert museum has long since wrapped and now is on its tour around the globe. I have jst now however managed to get my hands on some pictures from the event so here they are.

Killer Gerbil in Melbourne

My homeboy from Singapore Killer Gerbil and his lovely wife were in Melbourne this past week and it was great to catch up with him after my trip to Singapore last year. For those of you who don't know he is an illustrator/graffiti artist/sneaker customizer who has worked with the likes of Vans, Adidas and Streething just to name a few. Below are a few more shots of his time around Melbourne.

Also I will chuck up a few more preview pics of works for the show. Just under 3 weeks away now.

Solo Exhibition

Sekure D's first solo exhibition is set to take place @ Hogan Gallery on April 17th and runs till the 30th. It features both custom sneakers and a collection of canvas artworks painted over 2008 and 2009. All are welcome.
I know its a while away but why not get it out there early.

Exhibition: V&A ''Fashion Vs. Sport''

"This exhibition explores the creative connections between the two worlds of fashion and sport. Recent developments have seen an increasing number of collaborations and hybrids, from fashion designers producing collections with sportswear brands to sports personalities heading fashion campaigns or even designing their own collections. Fashion V Sport will reveal the complexities and tensions between the two industries."
