Stacy Blazers

WMNS Blazers done for a friend. I really like the reverse stitching over the silk, thats a bit of a highlight for me on this pair. Little details always seem to get a shoe across the line. I have been playing with colorways for women alot recently maybe its something I gotta focus on.
It would appear as the photos are really dull, I might have to retake them tomorrow.

Labyrinth 2009

These were painted for and sold at my solo show. As you can see they are an evoluton of the Labyrinth pattern which was my first custom that I found faked back a few years ago. The detail and time it takes to do this pattern is ridiculous thats why you don't see it too frequently but I definately think its worth the time.

Black Mamba Zoom Kobe I

So this is a job I have literally supposed to have completed like a year ago but finally after the show I had a little bit of time and was able to get these painted. As you should know Kobe has the nickname "Black Mamba" and after the success of the Chamillionaire dunk lows I have wanted to use the tear away snake skin pattern again and this shoe served the purpose perfectly.
These are for sponsored athlete Justin Guppy and if you have followed the blog for a while he is the same person who recieved the custom Zoom BB's from last year which were stolen and then remade.

New com-raid website

Good friend and com-raid founder Anthony Costa has this week released a new website for the brand which has a strong focus surrounding street wear and street art, particularly as he says, when it has a revolutionary pulse. With a history in politics and a real sense of social responsibility he has developed a website which will now more accurately portray his interests and truly help to strengthen the brand.

If you don’t know com-raid is a Melbourne based label with a strong focus on graphics and thought provoking imagery while not compromising on their quality of production.

The site has been kicked off with an amazing interview featuring Emory Douglas, the Black Panther Party’s Minister of Culture. Emory himself is responsible for the artwork in the Black Panther newspaper during the 60s and 70s and is still a real symbol of empowerment so be sure to check it out.

This is easily one of my favorite brands and it is pretty uncommon to see me not wearing it, not only because of my friendship with Anthony but also because of what he stands for and the quality of his work. Check out the website below.

Melbourne Air Yeezy Launch

So the Air Yeezy Launch went down in Melbourne the other night as you probably have seen by now on Kanye's blog as well as Hypebeast if you have done the blog run this morning. It was presented by Nike Sportswear and Sneaker Freaker and I was lucky enough to attend and also get a pair of the shoes. We started the night out at Lucky Coq smashing a few pizza's each (which I might add seemed like a great idea at the time but after a few quick beers didnt seem like it was so wise) and then promptly headed down to the event.

These events are always a bit of fun since there is so many familiar faces in the crowd to have a chat and a beer with. Whattup to Jazz, Justin, Karl, Dazzle, Pasha and everyone else I had a drink with during the night! Pitty I couldn't stop sneezing all night
