Sneaker Freaker Issue 14 Launch
So issue 14 was launched last night @ Provider in Manchester Lane Melbourne CBD. As you can tell there was a rather big turnout, no surprises there, sneakers plus free booze usually equals a decent turnout. Regardless it is a great issue, a few features from yours truly including a full 4 page custom guide and an appearance from my boy in NZ Frank from Qubic. So get yours at your local.

Well Frank, Ivy and the crew have relaunched their Qubic website and it features new news feeds as well as blogs from some locals, employees and extended family like yours truly.
This will remain the official Sekure D blog but I will update over there a little more frequently with every day stuff like canvas progress, exhibitions I attend etc etc. To check it out like normal click the image above.

Scribble Air Force 1
These are my latest creations finished today. As I have previously mentioned I have been working on alot of projects which means I haven't had alot of material to post however I'm now finished most of those and they are gonna be released in the coming weeks.
I am now back into the swing of things and will have another pair of shoes released in a few days so check back soon.
In other news the Globe collaboration has been brought forward and will now release early December 08. News on this release as well as official pics will be out in a few days.
For some reason the blog hates these pictures and keeps messing up their quality. I will have the better quality pics on the website within the hour.

I will however have some new shoes in a few days as well as a preview for some canvas's.
Cheers to those of you who continue to drop in with the hope there is new stuff posted. You definately will not be dissapointed so hold in there.

Concrete Cobalt Stabs Banned in UK due to violence?
A recent article in 'The Times' explains that Nike is withdrawing the infamous retro 'Air Stab' from shelves due to an increase in knife attacks. There is a slightly humerous side to this horrible situation however, and that is that they used the 'Concrete Cobalt' Air Stab I painted with UHF of NZ in the article. Of all the stabs out there they use these, classic. Anyways here is a link to the article.

Swamp Thing Dunk High
Here are the new ‘Swamp Thing’ customs based on the graphic novels by Alan Moore. Sometimes when painting a custom it takes on a life of its own and this was definitely one of those occasions. The amount of time, detail and planning required for this pair was not expected when I began them over a month ago. They break numerous standard custom conventions but if you look at them as a piece of ‘artwork’ rather then a “standard” shoe you would see on a shelf in a sneaker store then they make more sense atheistically.
This pair was done for myself and as such will not be for sale but will travel to a few different exhibitions so you guys can check them out in person because these photos do not really do them justice. Dates and exhibitions will be posted as they come up. There was a strong focus on the shadows of the vines and roots as well as the depth of ground behind the vines and flowers.
So without further delay here are the flicks.
